Elsie and Kittens

Elsie was rescued from Walthamstow, a very heavily pregnant cat about
14 months old, so probably not her first litter.
She was rescued from a colony of cats that have an owner, but they refuse
to get them neutered. We have tried getting the RSPCA involved but they
don’t seem interested. So, the colony continues to grow and unfortunately
because the cats are all related there is a massive problem with
inbreeding.

Elsie’s kittens were born safely on June 11th in the care of Fran. Elsie had
5 kittens, 3 x girls and 2 x boys and they all look healthy at the moment
although we do know that some of the cats in the colony have health
issues i.e. swollen feet. Elsie will be neutered and vaccinated before she
goes up for rehoming and hopefully the kittens will be healthy and find
some good loving homes. All cats will be subject to a home check before
they leave, and a donation will be asked for to help with the running of
the charity.

Any prospective new owners will have to sign a form stating that the
kittens will be neutered when old enough alternatively they will be
neutered by us before they are rehomed.
